Why our local non-profit organizations are so important

Local organizations are important. Over the past 12 years, I have been honored to have worked with a multitude of local organizations and non-profits. I chose to donate the majority of the work I did for them for many reasons.

First, they are very important to our community. Each has an important mission and stands for our local population, helping to make a difference in their own important, special way.

Second, we do these things as volunteers because it is for the greater good of our community, to selflessly help other people. These organizations depend on volunteers for a multitude of reasons each and every day. It’s how they stay afloat.

I have donated over $80,000 in free marketing, promotions, web design and other work to local Beaufort organizations since 2010, and I make it a point to continue this throughout the future of my career.

While there are many organizations that are close to my heart, I ask that you, also, please show your support to them as well. Follow them on social media. Donate to them as you can. And, definitely donate your time to them as you can, as well. Another suggestion is to stay up on our local events and jump in to volunteer whenever you can.
